Currently the Head Chef at Haven, Tom Taylor was previously the Sous Chef of award-winning Ampersand Cafe & Bookstore in Paddington (Tom helped achieve the status of Best Coffee & Tea house in Sydney Savour Australia Awards for the past 2 years) creating delicious and healthy dishes for over 2.5 years.
He specializes in planning and preparing menus that attract and retain customers whilst adhering to current food trends.
Tom has an enormous amount of integrity when it comes to nutrition. He is a huge believer in organic produce from your own backyard. He is also a passionate pastry chef known for creating unique and sought after pastries.
He comes from a long line of chefs who influenced his development of a well tuned palette. Tom’s other passions are for music and art. He is currently studying the trumpet, piano and percussion.
